A New Zelda
Recently, shortly after E3 2003, Eiji Aonuma, director for The Wind Waker, was interviewed and said that a new Zelda game is in
development for GameCube.
Not much information has been gathered regarding this new Zelda game. The only thing we really know is that
the new Zelda game will feature the same cel-shading graphics seen in the most recent and very popular Zelda game,
The Wind Waker.
For one, I think a classic Zelda adventure in Hyrule would be nice to see in cel-shaded graphics. Something very epic, with
maybe a more realistic look to the cel-shaded graphics.
Any kind of release date has not been released, which is not surprising since the game is very early on in
development. Aonuma said that hopefully Nintendo will have the opportunity to show off a demo version of the game
at E3 2003. I estimate the game may have a late 2004 or early 2005 Japanese release, closely followed by Norther America
and Europe.
