Four Swords Adventures
Game Boy Advance Release Date: 2002 (Four Swords)
GameCube Release Date: June 7, 2004 (Four Swords Adventures)
2002 saw the Japanese and North American re-release of A Link to the Past
for the Game Boy Advance, the classic SNES hit. Included was a four
player game, Four Swords.
Four Swords Adventures is not the same Four Swords seen on the Game Boy
Advance. The title Four Swords Plus refers to a Zelda game package which includes the
following:
- Hyrulean Adventure, which is the classic Four Swords game Game Boy Advance players are
familiar with, although with quite a few changes, including with the gameplay and graphics.
- Shadow Battle, which is a mode which allows someone to battle up to four other
players.
- Navi Trackers is a scavenger hunt in Hyrule for up to four players.
For those players who are worried they won't be able to play Hyrule Adventures in
single player, you will be happy to know that the game is playable with only one
player using a GameCube controller, and the same goes for Navi Trackers, although
you may need a Game Boy Advance for that.
Note that Navi Trackers has been pulled from the North American version of
Four Swords Adventures, so, if you want to play it, you will have to import
the Japanese version of the game.
Four Swords Adventures is now available.
